Ghost Robotics Vision 60: Specs, Military Customers, Price and How to Buy (2026)

The Ghost Robotics Vision 60 is a 51 kg, IP67-rated four-legged robot built mainly for military, border and base-security patrol. It carries 10 kg, walks about 3 hours (10 km) per battery and runs from −40 °C to 55 °C, per the official spec page. Ghost Robotics doesn’t publish a price or sell to individuals; buyers go through its sales contact. The only exact public price is a UK Ministry of Defence order: £449,059.72 excluding VAT for two robots with a two-year warranty in March 2022. Since July 2024 the Philadelphia company has been 60% owned by South Korean defense firm LIG Nex1.

Can you buy a Vision 60?

Ghost Robotics sells to defense, homeland security and law enforcement agencies, and also lists industrial and education buyers. Sales so far have gone through government procurement, often with a local importer or reseller as the contracting party, as in the UK and German orders. The company’s site doesn’t state an export-control classification; foreign buyers should ask Ghost which licenses apply before they budget delivery time. A private buyer who wants a legged robot for inspection will find a shorter path with Boston Dynamics Spot or, for research and teaching, a Unitree Go2.

LIG Nex1 ownership

LIG Nex1 bought a 60% controlling stake for $240 million, valuing Ghost Robotics at $400 million; the deal closed on July 29, 2024 (The Robot Report). Ghost kept its Philadelphia headquarters at Pennovation Works and its management (Technical.ly).
