For automatica, take Munich’s U2 toward Messestadt Ost and plan to use the East entrance. Buy a transport ticket separately: the exhibition’s Print@home admission ticket does not include MVG, MVV or DB travel. The distinction matters when a booking email contains several tickets with similar event branding.
The next edition runs June 22–25, 2027, according to the official ticket page. The route and ticket conditions below were checked on October 17, 2026, Korea time.
Follow the stop for the entrance you intend to use
The organizer’s travel page identifies Messestadt Ost on U2 and gives Main entrance East, Am Messeturm, 81829 Munich as the arrival address. From Munich Central Station, its published U2 estimate is about 20 minutes without a change.
Treat that as the rail journey described by the organizer. Your meeting time also needs room for reaching the platform, leaving the station, finding admission control and walking to the booth. A booth appointment at the opening time leaves little room for those steps.
Messe München has both Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost stations. For this visit, save the event’s East-entrance address alongside the booth location. A map result for the exhibition grounds as a whole can lead to a different side of the site.
Keep three ticket purposes separate

For the Central Station-to-fairgrounds journey, the organizer points to tariff zone M. An airport or out-of-town starting point changes the journey being purchased. Enter your real origin in the transport operator’s planner instead of buying a ticket solely because it appears in a city-centre example.
The travel page also advertises a DB event offer for long-distance travel. That is a booking offer, so keep its fare details with the train reservation rather than treating the exhibition badge as a rail pass.
Use the car and airport sections for their own routes
The same official page contains different directions for cars and public transport. Its driving section mentions West parking, while the event arrival address and U2 guidance point to East. Someone arriving on U2 should follow the pedestrian entrance guidance; a driver needs the parking directions and current event signs.
The airport section describes a shuttle offered during some trade fairs. Before choosing it, open the linked timetable for the actual event and travel day. A general Messe München shuttle description is not enough to plan a departure time for automatica 2027.
What to save now, and what to check near the show
Save the U2 stop, East-entrance address and the official travel link now. Add the booth and hall from the current exhibitor plan once your meetings are arranged. The travel page still includes a map labelled automatica 2025, so use the new edition’s hall plan for the final walk to a stand.
As of the check date, the 2027 ticket page says purchase information will be provided ahead of the fair. Check that page for the ticket shop and the 2027 admission options before booking.
