Where to Stay for CES: Choose a Hotel Around Your Venues

Choose your CES hotel after locating the meetings and sessions you most want to attend. A convenient base for the Las Vegas Convention Center may suit a different itinerary from one built around Venetian Expo or ARIA. Start with your busiest campus, then compare the complete journey from each hotel to the entrance you need.

This guide uses CES 2027 information checked on October 16, 2026. The official dates and hours place the exhibits on January 6–9, with some conference and media activity earlier. Match your hotel nights to your own appointments and access, rather than assuming every part of the event follows the exhibit dates.

Put your fixed appointments on the campus map

The CES maps and locations page groups venues into three campuses: LVCC, Venetian and C Space. Use it to place your confirmed meetings before opening a hotel search. For an LVCC appointment, record the hall as well as the venue; for a meeting elsewhere, keep the actual building or hotel name.

This turns “near CES” into a useful comparison. A location can work well for your first appointment yet leave you with an awkward connection after your last one.

Where your day is concentrated What to compare when choosing a hotel What to resolve before booking
Mostly LVCC The route to your main hall, a usable Monorail connection or a listed hotel shuttle How you reach the required hall entrance from the station or shuttle stop
Mostly Venetian Expo Hotel-to-Expo access and a shuttle that serves the venue The Monorail does not serve Venetian Expo; identify the actual connection you will use
Repeated LVCC–Venetian visits The hotel journey at each end of the day, plus the connection between venues Whether appointments can be grouped to reduce campus changes
C Space meetings at ARIA ARIA access and the C Space Shuttle relevant to your visit How you return to the hotel after the final meeting

Give the appointments you cannot move more weight than the number of booths you might browse. If your only fixed morning meeting is at Venetian Expo, that arrival deserves more attention than a general preference to stay near LVCC.

Choose a connection that serves both ends

The CES transportation guide describes complimentary shuttles from select official CES hotels to and from LVCC and Venetian Expo. Check the named hotel and its listed boarding point. Being an official CES hotel and being served by the shuttle are separate details to verify.

For a Monorail-based stay, compare the hotel’s access to a station with the station-to-venue part of the journey. CES lists connections between LVCC, Westgate and several Strip hotels. It also states that the Monorail does not serve Venetian Expo.

A CES badge alone is not a Monorail pass. The transportation page offers discounted passes for separate purchase through registration; when bought through that route, your CES badge acts as the ticket at the faregate. Include the selected pass in your trip budget, and choose it around the days you will use the service.

For the LVCC–Venetian leg, CES lists Tech Express, Route 9. Its LVCC boarding point is Central Plaza, near the walkway to the Monorail. At Venetian Expo, boarding is along Sands Avenue in front of the Expo. That connection can support a mixed-campus day, but it is a different leg from getting between your hotel and the show.

The same guide lists the C Space Shuttle, Route 7, between ARIA and LVCC/Venetian Expo. Consult the current service information for your travel date before fixing an appointment around it. Keep the final hotel connection in view, especially when a meeting finishes outside the service window you plan to use.

If the shuttle does not fit your return time, compare a taxi or rideshare for that leg. CES lists designated pickup areas at the venues; for rideshare, follow the location shown in the app so you and the driver are heading to the same entrance.

Move the meetings before adding another transfer

Imagine a day with an LVCC morning meeting, a Venetian Expo afternoon meeting and a flexible LVCC booth visit. Putting the booth visit between the two fixed meetings lets you finish at LVCC before crossing to Venetian. Leaving it until after the afternoon appointment creates a return trip across campuses.

That simple change may matter more to the hotel decision than finding a room that looks central on a city map. Compare each candidate hotel against the day you have actually arranged: where you start, where you finish and which connection takes you back.

Leave space between appointments for reaching the boarding point, waiting and finding the next room. Check current service dates and operating windows on the transport page as your itinerary firms up. A connection shown on the route list still needs to fit the time of your meeting.

Read the terms attached to the room you select

Start with the official CES hotel page, which identifies onPeak as the only official housing agent for CES 2027 and provides the booking links. It is a useful way to identify the authorized housing route while comparing locations.

If this is your first visit, check CES eligibility and registration before committing to a room with restrictive cancellation terms. The event reviews industry credentials, so include that registration step in the booking plan.

For each shortlisted room, read the total for your actual nights, any mandatory fees shown, the deposit or payment timing, and the cancellation and change terms. Apply those terms to the specific reservation. A general booking-site benefit such as flexibility is not a substitute for reading the conditions attached to your room.

Before committing, put the room offer beside your appointment plan. Check the arrival date, first essential venue, hotel boarding point or station, and return journey after the last meeting. Choose the room whose location and terms fit that plan, then keep the official map and transport page with your itinerary for later updates.
