Dobot (Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology, 越疆) sells five kinds of robot arms: the CRA collaborative robots for factories (3–30 kg payload), the compact Nova cobots (2–5 kg), the MG400 desktop arm, the M1 Pro SCARA and the Magician education arms, plus the ATOM humanoid. Dobot’s own site lists no prices, so every model is a quote from Dobot or a distributor. Reseller prices checked on October 25, 2026 run from about $1,200 for a Magician Lite to €16,940 for a CR5A arm with controller.
Dobot CRA series: the factory cobots
The CRA line is what most buyers mean by a Dobot cobot. The Dobot CRA series page lists ten models:
| Model | Payload | Reach | Repeatability | Arm weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CR3A | 3 kg | 620 mm | ±0.02 mm | 16.5 kg |
| CR5A | 5 kg | 900 mm | ±0.02 mm | 25 kg |
| CR7A | 7 kg | 800 mm | ±0.05 mm | 24.5 kg |
| CR6AL | 6 kg | 1,800 mm | ±0.02 mm | 41.5 kg |
| CR10A | 10 kg | 1,300 mm | ±0.03 mm | 40 kg |
| CR12A | 12 kg | 1,200 mm | ±0.03 mm | 39.5 kg |
| CR16A | 16 kg | 1,000 mm | ±0.03 mm | 40 kg |
| CR16AL | 16 kg | 1,300 mm | ±0.04 mm | 40 kg |
| CR20A | 20 kg | 1,700 mm | ±0.05 mm | 73 kg |
| CR30A | 30 kg | 1,305 mm | ±0.05 mm | 70 kg |
All CRA arms use a separate safety controller rated PLd Cat.3 with more than 20 safety functions, and Dobot cites ISO 13849-1, ISO 10218-1 and ISO/TS 15066. The teach pendant is an optional accessory, as is SafeSkin, a sensor cover that detects a person 15 cm before contact. Dobot’s site menu still says “7 models, 3–20 kg” for the CRA series; the series page itself lists the ten above.
Three variants share the CRA arms. The CRAF models (CR5AF, CR10AF, CR20AF) add a six-axis force sensor at the flange for polishing and assembly. The CRA-IP68 models (CR5AP, CR10AP, CR20AP) are sealed for washdown and dusty cells. For palletizing, the CR 30H carries 30 kg with 1,800 mm reach and a 100 kg arm, in standard, high-torque and food-grade versions.
Nova, MG400, M1 Pro and Magician: the lighter Dobot arms

The original Magician (0.5 kg, 320 mm) is still listed. For mobile manipulation, Dobot’s only listed product is the education-grade E6 ROS Mobile Platform, a Magician E6 on a wheeled base.
How much do Dobot robots cost?
Dobot’s product pages route buyers to sales@dobot-robots.com instead of a price. These are prices that named resellers showed on October 25, 2026. What each one includes differs, so compare the “included” column, not just the number.
| Model | Seller | Price | Included | Not included or unclear |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CR5A | RobotShop EU | €16,940, VAT included | Arm, controller, 5 m cable set | Teach pendant and gripper not listed; shipping extra; ordered on demand |
| Nova 5 | Top 3D Shop (US) | $13,790 | Arm, controller, e-stop, cables; free US shipping; 1-year warranty | Teach pendant not listed; page also offers a quote form |
| Magician E6 | RobotShop US | $6,995, US tariffs included | Arm with built-in control box, ES01 suction cup | Servo gripper $419 extra; shipping extra; ordered on demand |
| MG400 | RobotShop US | $3,885, US tariffs included | Arm | Grippers and vacuum kits extra; out of stock on the check date |
| Magician Lite | RobotShop US | $1,203.95 | Arm | Whether the Magic Box controller is included is unclear |
No reseller we checked showed a price for the CR10A, CR20A, CR30A or CR 30H; those go through a quote. The arm price is also only part of a working cell. A gripper, a stand, guarding or a risk assessment, and integration labor are separate lines, and our guide to what an industrial robot arm costs shows how those add up against other brands’ published prices.
Dobot ATOM: the humanoid
The ATOM product page gives degrees of freedom (28 for the upper body; ATOM Max has 41 with six-axis hands) and a contact form, with no price, height or weight. When Dobot launched ATOM in March 2025, the South China Morning Post reported a starting price of RMB 199,000 (about $27,500). Dobot announced its first overseas ATOM delivery in Nagoya, Japan, in June 2025. To compare ATOM with humanoids that have a listed price, see our humanoid robot price list.
Where to buy a Dobot, and what the warranty covers
- Industrial arms (CRA, CR 30H, Nova, MG400, M1 Pro): email Dobot sales or a regional distributor. Dobot has offices in Dallas, Neu-Isenburg (Germany), Tokyo, Bangkok and Subang (Malaysia), listed on its About page.
- Education arms (Magician E6, Magician, Lite): education resellers such as RobotShop and RobotLAB in the US sell them at listed prices.
- Warranty: Dobot’s industrial warranty policy runs 12 months from the date the robot enters service, capped at 15 months from shipment, and a distributor handles service for units bought through it. The education policy gives one year on the main body.
Ask for these in every quote so two offers can be compared on the same basis: exact model and controller version, teach pendant yes or no, gripper and its I/O kit, SafeSkin or other safety options, who does the integration and risk assessment, who provides local service and spare parts, and warranty start date.
Dobot software and ROS 2 support
Industrial arms are programmed in DobotStudio Pro, which offers block programming, Lua scripts and an offline virtual controller. Developers can use Dobot’s ROS 2 driver on GitHub (MIT license, ROS 2 Humble on Ubuntu 22.04), whose README lists the CR3 to CR30H arms, the CRAF force-sensor models, the E6 and the Nova 2, Nova 2s and Nova 5.
How Dobot compares with other cobot makers
Dobot listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 23, 2024 (stock code 2432) and says on its homepage that it has sold more than 100,000 robots. Its CRA range covers the same 3–30 kg span as Universal Robots and FANUC’s CRX. Our cobot companies comparison lines them up by payload and reach, and the Universal Robots lineup guide covers the brand most often quoted against Dobot. For a 30 kg palletizing job, see our cobot palletizer comparison.
