Choose a HANNOVER MESSE ticket for the days you will attend, then buy the transport coverage for your route separately. The current day and full-event tickets explicitly exclude public transport. A ticket code also needs activation through personalization; receiving a code is a step toward obtaining your entry ticket.
The official ticket page lists HANNOVER MESSE 2027 for April 5–8. Its current announcement says online purchase and code activation will be available starting in late November. The conditions below were checked on October 17, 2026, Korea time, before that announced opening.
Start with the days your appointments require
The day ticket permits one entry on the selected day. The full-event ticket is valid for the entire duration of the fair. That distinction is useful when appointments are still moving: decide which days are necessary before comparing the prices.
| Admission | Published advance online price | Published box-office price |
|---|---|---|
| Day ticket | €35 | €57 |
| Full-event ticket | €93 | €111 |
| Reduced day ticket, for eligible visitors | €24 | €24 |
The organizer states that these prices include VAT. Use the live shop when it opens to select the actual ticket and visit dates, and confirm the amount for that purchase.
For a simple example using the published advance prices, two €35 day tickets total €70, while three total €105. The €93 full-event ticket therefore costs €23 more than two day tickets and €12 less than three. This arithmetic compares ordinary advance admission only; an eligible reduced ticket or a ticket code changes the choice.
A one-day visit also needs a workable agenda. If two important suppliers can only meet on different days, saving on a day ticket may conflict with the reason for attending. Conversely, a full-event ticket has little additional value when all of your useful meetings and sessions fit one day.
Reduced admission depends on eligibility and proof
The reduced-day-ticket section lists school pupils, trainees and students aged 18 and over; senior citizens aged 65 and over; people with a disability pass; and specified service, unemployment and social-welfare categories. It requires proof of eligibility on site. Read the full category wording before choosing the reduced ticket and bring the corresponding evidence.
The organizer gives a separate process for a companion ticket associated with disability admission. Follow the current ticket team’s instructions for that case rather than adding an ordinary paid ticket automatically. The official ticket page provides the contact route and requested documentation.
Choose the entrance before choosing the last train leg
The official travel guide gives different connections for different entrances. From Hannover Main Station, lines 8 and 18 serve the north side, with Hannover Messe/Nord named as the stop for entrances NORD 1 and 2. For OST 3, the public-transport section lists lines 6 and 16.
Hannover Messe/Laatzen is a different station. The guide places it about 400 metres from WEST 1, connected to the grounds by the covered Skywalk. A long-distance or regional rail itinerary through Messe/Laatzen therefore ends at a different side of the site from the city-centre route to Messe/Nord.
Put the first appointment’s hall and booth into your plan, then choose the useful entrance and a current departure. The organizer links a local journey planner and asks rail travellers to check the DB app for construction-related changes. Buy the fare that covers that actual journey: neither the day ticket nor the full-event admission ticket is a local transport pass.
Keep the separately advertised DB event offer with the rail booking. Its route and fare conditions concern the train journey; the admission choice above concerns entry to the fair. This is especially helpful when your travel folder contains several documents bearing the event name.
Turn the ticket decision into a realistic visit
The travel page lists opening hours of 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Allow time for the walk from your entrance to the hall when accepting a meeting near opening time. A timetable’s arrival at the station is only one part of that route.
For robotics meetings, decide what evidence you want from a supplier before adding another day. Our Automate commercialization review gives examples of questions about paid customer work, production and service. At HANNOVER MESSE, use those questions to choose current exhibitors and appointments, then purchase the admission and transport that fit the resulting schedule.
