Unitree H2: Price, Specs, H2 EDU vs H2 Plus and How to Buy One

Unitree lists the base H2 at $29,900, excluding tax and shipping, on its official H2 page. That price buys a 1.82 m, 31-joint humanoid with no dexterous hands and no secondary development access. The H2 EDU, which you need if you plan to program the robot, has no public price; Unitree says to contact sales. On October 19, 2026, the H2 listing on Unitree’s online store showed $29,900 but could not be ordered (sold out).

There is also a third version. The H2 Plus, built with NVIDIA as a research reference robot, is listed at $100,000 and was also unavailable to order on the same date.

What the three H2 versions include

  • H2 ($29,900): the full body, Intel Core i5 onboard computer, binocular head camera, microphones and speaker, battery, charger and handheld controller. No hands. No secondary development. 8-month warranty.
  • H2 EDU (contact sales): the same body, a second onboard computer (Intel Core i7) for your own code, secondary development access, a choice of dexterous hands and optional high-power compute modules such as NVIDIA Jetson Thor. 12-month warranty.
  • H2 Plus ($100,000 store listing): the H2 body with Sharpa Wave tactile five-finger hands, wrist cameras, onboard NVIDIA Jetson Thor and NVIDIA’s Isaac GR00T software. Unitree’s store page lists 22 active hand joints and 75 joints in total. Unitree and NVIDIA announced it on June 1, 2026 as an academic research platform that will be available in late 2026.

The H2 page says the robot is “powered by a 2070 TOPS chip.” That figure matches NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor, which the spec table lists as an optional module for EDU, not as standard equipment on the $29,900 base robot. If you want Thor-class onboard AI compute, budget for EDU or H2 Plus. Our Jetson Thor price guide covers what the module costs on its own.

Unitree H2 specs from the official spec table

  • Size: 1820 × 456 × 218 mm standing
  • Weight: about 70 kg with battery
  • Joints: 31 in total: 6 per leg, 7 per arm, 3 in the waist, 2 in the head (hands not counted)
  • Joint torque: up to 360 N·m at the leg joints, 120 N·m at the arm joints
  • Arm payload: about 7 kg rated, about 15 kg peak
  • Battery: 15 Ah (0.972 kWh), 75.6 V maximum, quick-release, about 3 hours per charge
  • Sensors: wide-field binocular camera in the head, microphone array and speaker
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2
  • Structure: aluminum, titanium alloy and engineering plastics; air-cooled joints with crossed roller bearings

Unitree footnotes that these figures vary with configuration and scenario, and that some functions shown on the page are still in development. Battery life and payload are company figures, not independent tests.

Who the base H2 is for

The $29,900 H2 runs Unitree’s own motion software and receives updates over the air, but it does not open the robot to your code. That suits a showroom, an exhibition or a demonstration where the robot walks, dances and talks using what Unitree ships. It does not suit a lab that wants to train its own walking or manipulation policies; those teams need EDU or H2 Plus.

Without hands, the base H2 also can’t pick things up. Any task that involves grasping starts with choosing a hand, which Unitree only offers on EDU. Our guide to robot hand types explains how dexterous hands differ by active joints and sensing (in Korean).

Unitree’s own footnotes are direct about safety: the robot is powerful, people should keep a safe distance, and individual buyers are “strongly advised” to understand the limits of humanoid robots before buying.

How to buy a Unitree H2

  1. Pick the version. If you need to run your own code, you need EDU or H2 Plus, not the base H2.
  2. Check the official store listing. If it shows sold out, as it did on October 19, 2026, you can’t check out there.
  3. Request a quote through the contact links on the H2 page or from an authorized distributor in your country. Ask for the hands, compute module, shipping, import duties and warranty terms in writing.
  4. Confirm who handles repairs. The listed warranty is 8 months for H2 and 12 months for EDU; a local distributor may offer different service terms.

Resellers price the robot higher than the $29,900 China-direct list. US reseller listings we found on October 19 included $40,500 and $40,900 for the base H2. The difference covers import costs, local stock and support, so compare the full delivered price and warranty rather than the headline number.

How the H2 fits with other humanoids

The H2 is one of the few full-size humanoids with a public list price. Most competitors sell through pilots and quotes. For where Unitree sits next to Figure, Agility, UBTech, 1X and others, see our humanoid robot companies guide.
