Digit pricing starts with contract scope, not a public sticker price

As of August 7, 2026, the cited Agility customer releases do not list a universal price per Digit or a published monthly RaaS fee. Agility has separately reported more than $300 million in multi-year contracted orders for Digit v5, subject to contractual milestones. That aggregate figure cannot be divided into a reliable per-robot price or recognized revenue.

A complete quote needs the hardware generation and quantity, Agility Arc, site mapping, workflow configuration, AMR or conveyor integration, installation, training, maintenance and service levels. GXO provides evidence beyond a pilot announcement

GXO and Agility moved from a 2023 proof of concept to a multi-year RaaS agreement in June 2024. In the SPANX workflow, autonomous mobile robots arrive with totes, Digit unloads them and places them on a conveyor, and Agility Arc helps orchestrate the deployment. Agility separately recorded Digit's first day in GXO regular operations on June 5, 2024.

This establishes paid commercial use for a defined workflow at a customer facility. It does not establish deployment across every GXO site or autonomy over arbitrary warehouse work. Public releases do not provide enough data to calculate fleet size, service uptime, human interventions or cost per tote.

Toyota confirms a commercial agreement and a deployment plan

Agility announced in February 2026 that Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada signed a RaaS commercial agreement after a successful pilot. Toyota said it plans to deploy Digit in manufacturing, supply-chain and logistics operations to support employees. The agreement is real; the release does not give an installed-unit count or production go-live date.

A clean deployment ledger should therefore show pilot completed, commercial contract signed and deployment planned. It should not advance the status to fleet rollout complete until the companies identify the site, arrival date, task, number of robots and regular-operation state.

Commercial evidence has a different boundary for each customer

Agility's 2026 corporate materials describe active commercial deployments with GXO, Schaeffler, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada and Mercado Libre, plus more than $300 million in multi-year Digit v5 orders. These company-reported indicators show demand and a broader customer base, but they do not disclose unit allocation, customer economics or milestone-by-milestone revenue recognition.

Procurement teams should prioritize evidence from a workflow resembling their own. Tote transfer, automotive line support and material movement have different objects, layouts, controls and hazards. A customer logo is useful orientation, not a substitute for task-level operating data.

A RaaS contract should price outcomes and responsibility

The RaaS label alone does not promise throughput or uptime. The contract should define eligible tote types, target task rate, scheduled downtime, intervention and recovery, remote support, software changes, data rights and service credits. It should also assign failures at the boundaries between Arc, the customer's WMS, AMRs and conveyors.

End-of-term recovery, replacement, upgrades and site restoration affect total cost as well. A low monthly line can omit integration engineering, safety changes, network work, internal operators and a fallback process for unavailable robots. Safety approval and economics return to the individual site

Agility's NRTL field-evaluation explanation says Digit passed an OSHA-recognized evaluation at an ecommerce customer site and explicitly describes field evaluations as site-specific. Different floors, traffic, payloads and adjacent automation require a new risk assessment. The result should not be marketed as universal certification for every Digit installation.

The commercial decision should ultimately use cost per reliably completed task, not a guessed robot price. Measure every attempt, intervention, stop, recovery, AMR wait and fallback event.
